Time

The preliminary discussion for the practical course Parallelization (PVA-PR, M-Theo-PR, M-PVA-PR) takes place Tuesday, April 18th, 4 pm (c.t.) in room 026 (Computer-Lab). The regular weekly appointments will be fixed at this first appointment.

The lecture is held in English.

Content

Introduction to parallel infrastructures (Linux-Cluster, message passing interface (MPI)) and parallel programming, design and implementation of selected parallel algorithms on specific infrastructures/topologies, performance analysis and scalability.
